NITRIC ACID
Certificate of Analysis
Nitric Acid or what's commonly called nitric acid is usually used in the laboratory as a reagent. This solution is used to produce explosives such as nitroglycerin, trinitrotoluene (TNT) and cyclotrimethylenatrinitramine (RDX), as well as ammonium nitrate. Nitric acid is also used in metallurgy and elimination because it can react with metal. When mixed with chloric acid, then this mixture will form aqua regia, one of the few reagents that can melt gold and platinum.
