Isophorone

Isophorone used primarily as a solvent for a vinyl-based filter system chloride/ acetate-weighted for metal cans, other metal paints, nitrosellulose filters, and printing inks for plastic. Isophorone is also used in several herbicide and pesticide formulations, in adhesives for plastic materials, plovinyl chloride, and polystyrene. Isophorone is a substance between the synthesis of xylenol trimethyclohexanol and the inhibition of plant growth.
