Boric Acid can be used as an antiseptic for mild burns or wounds and sometimes used in dishes or flakes, in combination with its use as insecticide, boric acid also prevents and destroys wet and dry rot on wood. Boric acid can be used in combination with ethylene glycol carriers to treat external wood against fungal and insect attacks. as a primary pH absorber system or an addition in a swimming pool, the primary industrial use of borate acid in the production of monofilament glass fibers is usually referred to as textile glass fibers. This textile glass attachment is used to strengthen plastic in separate applications from ships, to industrial pipes for computer circuit boards.
