Aluminium sulfate is a chemical compound that can be produced from the reaction between sulfuric acid and aluminum or its minerals. The uses of aluminum sulfate include water clarification, regulation in the paper industry, color regulation in the textile industry, auxiliary materials in fire extinguishers, and raw material for the production of other chemicals. This compound is also used as a coagulation agent in drinking water purification and wastewater treatment plants, as well as in paper mills.
